Abstract

The stages of software development for microcontrollers and microprocessors of digital devices in the banking and finance sector are extensively covered. This article familiarizes students with the technology for developing programs for microcontrollers, highlighting the available types of programming and hardware-software debugging tools. The hardware-software debugger (in-circuit emulator) is considered the most effective. It is a special type of circuit that simulates the operation of the microcontroller. This circuit is controlled using a computer and specialized management software, and issues related to the use of modern technologies are discussed.
