Abstract

Academic writing is a formal style of writing used in universities and scholarly publications. One of the key features of academic writing is the use of formal, objective, and precise language. Non-native speakers of English often face challenges in using the correct academic phrases, which are essential for structuring arguments, presenting evidence, and expressing ideas clearly. This article aims to present some of the most frequently used English phrases in academic writing, categorized by function, to help students and researchers improve the clarity and professionalism of their writing.
