Abstract

This thesis explores the role of data analytics in enhancing the detection of financial statement fraud within emerging markets. By leveraging advanced analytical tools and machine learning techniques, it examines how firms can identify anomalies, patterns, and red flags in financial data. The study highlights practical challenges and proposes a data-driven framework to strengthen fraud prevention strategies in developing economies.
