Abstract

This article presents a comparative analysis of monologues in English and Uzbek. Monologues are thoughts, feelings, or events expressed by a single person, and their place in linguistics is important. The article compares the structures, lexical features, stylistic approaches, and cultural contexts of English and Uzbek monologues.

The analysis examines the goals, modes of expression, and audience of monologues. While monologues in English often reflect individualism and personal experiences, monologues in Uzbek may be more focused on public and traditional values. Through these differences, the aim is to identify the interactions and differences between the two languages and cultures.
