This paper explores the pedagogical effectiveness of podcast technologies in higher education. By combining a theoretical overview with empirical data from an experimental study conducted among first-year undergraduate students, the paper highlights how educational podcasts contribute to improved learning outcomes, enhanced student motivation, and increased autonomy in learning. The findings suggest that podcasting is a valuable complement to traditional and online teaching methods.
