GERMAN AND US EXPERIENCE IN REGULATING ENVIRONMENTAL INSURANCE

This article examines the use of three main methods of compensation for damage caused to the economy as a result of anthropogenic impact on the environment in world experience. The analysis of the implementation of the state budget, the funds of the person who caused the damage, and the funds embodied in the insurance business. Conclusions and proposals are made on the effectiveness of the mechanisms for regulating the compensation of damage caused by the state, creating opportunities for direct and indirect influence on the insurance market.
