Abstract

Nowadays, Uzbekistan is undertaking wide-ranging efforts to develop pilgrimage tourism, a sector that is gaining popularity across many countries around the world. As the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, emphasized: "Uzbekistan is a favorable country for both travel and pilgrimage. Pilgrimage tourism contributes not only to economic development but also significantly impacts the advancement of the social sphere."
