Abstract

Nowadays, the impact of the microbial world on biological diversity is increasingly becoming the subject of scientific research. Microbes, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and archaea, play an essential ecological and biological role for all organisms on Earth. They, in turn, shape the ecology and genetic diversification of living organisms. Changes in microbial diversity and the effects of microbiomes on organisms, as well as the diversity of microbiotopes, are key factors in determining the future of biological systems. The influence of microbes on biological diversity not only defines the interactions between ecosystems and organisms, but is also closely linked with human health, plant and animal populations, and the conservation of species diversity. Changes caused by microbes affect ecological and genetic processes, thereby altering biological diversity. This can disrupt ecological balance or lead to the formation of new ecological systems.
