Abstract

Bilingualism is a major assest in healthcare and medical technologies, enhancing communication, research, and AI development. Investing in multilingual medical education and AI- driven translation tools can improve global healtcare access and equity. Bilingual researchers can help recruit diverse participants, ensuring that new treatments work for different ethnic and linguistic groups. Most medical literature is published in English, but crucial research is also available in other languages. Bilingual professionals can access and contribute to a more diverse pool of medical knowledge and also can collaborate with international teams, accelerating the development of new treatments and technologies.
