This article explores his early life, political career, military campaigns, and cultural contributions. Analyzing primary sources such as the Baburnama alongside secondary literature, this study presents a comprehensive view of Babur’s political ideology, governance, and impact on Central and South Asian history. His role in shaping Timurid governance, his literary contributions, and his vision for statecraft provide valuable insights into early modern empire-building. This paper further examines the geopolitical landscape of Babur's time, his interactions with regional powers, and the long-term effects of his rule in shaping the region’s political and cultural landscape. Additionally, it explores various historiographical interpretations of Babur’s rule, emphasizing both contemporary accounts and modern scholarly debates regarding his legacy.
