Abstract

The development of research skills in university students is essential for their academic and professional growth. It equips them with critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to contribute meaningfully to their respective fields. This paper explores the pedagogical foundations that underpin the development of research skills in higher education. By examining key teaching approaches, instructional strategies, and the role of educators, the study aims to present a comprehensive understanding of how these elements converge to form a research-oriented mindset in university students.
