Abstract

Agricultural mechanization has evolved significantly over centuries, transitioning from manual labor to advanced technologies that enhance productivity and sustainability. In Uzbekistan, a country with a rich agricultural heritage, mechanization has played a pivotal role in transforming the sector to meet modern demands. This article traces the historical development of agricultural mechanization globally and examines its evolution in Uzbekistan, from the Soviet era to the present day. By analyzing current initiatives, case studies, and challenges, the study highlights Uzbekistan’s progress in adopting modern machinery and digital technologies. Recommendations for further advancement include policy reforms, financial incentives, and international collaborations to strengthen Uzbekistan’s position in global agricultural markets.
