Abstract

This thesis studies the areal classification of names used by representatives of the Kipchak dialect living in the Jarkurgan district of Surkhandarya region. The origin, semantic features, formation and distribution areas of names characteristic of the Kipchak dialect are analyzed. The linguistic and ethnolinguistic features of names in this area are also revealed.
