THE IMPORTANCE OF ENGLISH IN HIGHER EDUCATION IN UZBEKISTAN

This article examines the critical role of English language proficiency in Uzbekistan's higher education system. The research analyzes current challenges in English language education and explores its significance for academic advancement, international collaboration, and employment opportunities for graduates. Through analysis of educational policies, institutional practices, and international experiences, this study identifies key barriers to effective English language acquisition and proposes strategic recommendations for educational institutions and policymakers. The findings emphasize that enhancing English language education is essential for Uzbekistan's integration into the global academic community and for supporting the country's economic development priorities.
