This article explores how platforms like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter can be leveraged by English learners to improve their language skills. By providing exposure to authentic language, expanding vocabulary, enhancing listening and speaking abilities, and fostering global communities, social media offers an innovative approach to language learning. However, challenges such as informal language use, slang, and distractions must also be addressed. The article concludes with actionable strategies for learners to maximize the benefits of social media while mitigating its drawbacks.
