PHENOTYPIC AND GENOTYPIC ADAPTATIONS IN THE TRACHEAL SUBTYPE
Abstract
Tracheal subtype includes land-dwelling arthropods adapted to breathing with the help of organs called trachea. Another characteristic of animals of this group is the formation of the head due to the fusion of the acron and 4 segments. The head consists of a pair of whiskers and three pairs of mouthparts.
