This article reviews the theoretical framework supporting the incorporation of authentic materials in reading instruction and explores practical strategies for their effective implementation. Additionally, it discusses the advantages and challenges associated with the use of authentic materials and provides recommendations for educators seeking to integrate them into their teaching practices.
