Abstract

Sustainable mechanization is a critical approach to modernizing agriculture while ensuring environmental protection, economic viability, and social equity. In Uzbekistan, where agriculture plays a pivotal role in the economy, sustainable mechanization strategies are being implemented to address challenges such as water scarcity, soil degradation, and climate change. This article examines Uzbekistan’s efforts to adopt sustainable mechanization practices, focusing on energy-efficient technologies, eco-friendly machinery, and international partnerships like those with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). By analyzing case studies and current initiatives, the study highlights the potential of sustainable mechanization to enhance agricultural productivity while preserving natural resources. Recommendations for scaling these efforts include policy reforms, financial incentives, and capacity-building programs.
