This study explores the growing importance of physical security and cybersecurity in the hotel industry. As hotels increasingly adopt digital technologies ranging from smart room systems to cloud-based reservations they become more vulnerable to both physical threats and cyberattacks. This paper examines current threats, evaluates their impact on hotel operations, and suggests strategies to mitigate risks. The research utilizes case studies, quantitative data from industry reports, and interviews with IT and security managers in the hospitality sector. Results reveal that most hotels are underprepared for sophisticated cyber threats, and that cybersecurity breaches can lead to significant financial and reputational losses. The paper concludes with practical recommendations to improve both physical and digital security infrastructures in hotels.
