NAVOI’S PERSONALITY IN OYBEK’S NOVEL “NAVOIY”

This article analyzes how the personality of Alisher Navoi is artistically interpreted in the historical novel Navoiy written by the renowned Uzbek writer Oybek. In the novel, Navoi is portrayed not only as a great poet and statesman but also as a profound thinker and a just human being. The article examines the writer’s mastery in harmonizing historical truth with artistic imagination, as well as Navoi’s spiritual maturity, his humanistic ideals, and his moral-psychological world through an analytical approach. Throughout the study, the text of Oybek’s novel, historical sources, and literary-critical perspectives are comparatively explored. This article contributes to understanding the process of the literary formation of Navoi’s image and offers an analysis of the artistic and aesthetic features of Oybek’s creative work.
