POLITICS IN THE ERA OF THE SOCIAL MEDIA REVOLUTION

This article analyzes the political life of society and its communication through modern information and communication technologies, especially social networks. It also explores the genesis and meaning of the term “Social Media Revolution” and analyzes political processes in countries such as Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Syria, and Kazakhstan that have emerged as a result of social media revolutions in recent years. The article pays particular attention to how governments, during revolutionary processes, rapidly implement political reforms and improve their information policies. Examples such as the "Yellow Vests" movement in France, the Arab Spring in Egypt, and protests in Kazakhstan against rising oil prices are examined, along with how these movements escalated through social media and how states responded.
