THE FIGURE OF AMIR TEMUR IN THE ACTIVITIES OF UZBEK AND ENGLISH LITERATURE

Abstract

This article, by identifying the similarities and differences in the work of representatives of English literature and Uzbek poets using comparative-typological and chronological comparison methods, achieves the impartiality and objectivity of the definitions given to this historical figure and his followers by representatives of the two countries. The scientific conclusions and recommendations made are intended to be an important scientific source for orientalists and Timurid scholars conducting scientific research in this area. This article also analyzes the work of prominent scholars in this field, including Uzbek historians, art critics, and literary critics, who have conducted extensive scientific research in this field in recent years. This article also analyzes the poems of the famous Uzbek Timur scholar, poet, and translator Nodira Ofokova on this topic, who have addressed the image of Amir Temur in English and Uzbek literature. Similarly, it is analyzed that the work of the English writer Bijay Kant Dubey also contains a number of poetic works dedicated to the great Amir Temur, but they are significant in that they are written in a contrasting style to the work of Nodira Ofokova.
