A METHODICAL SYSTEM OF DESIGNING AND APPLYING THE TECHNOLOGY OF ORGANIZING INDEPENDENT EDUCATION IN GEOGRAPHY UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF THE CREDIT-MODULE SYSTEM

This article presents methodical approaches for organizing and developing independent work of students in teaching geography based on the credit-module system. Geography curriculum, independent work and assignments, the use of educational technologies, as well as presentation and assessment processes were discussed. The article helps to develop innovative methods aimed at strengthening students' knowledge, developing independent thinking and practical skills. The use of modern educational technologies in the system, such as GIS programs and 3D maps, increases the activity of students in the educational process and improves the efficiency of learning. The assessment process provides students with the opportunity to check their knowledge in real time.
