Abstract

The article is devoted to investigation of the category of mood in Uzbek and English languages. The peculiarities, differences between Uzbek and English moods and common features between two languages were analyzed. By delving into relevant theories and drawing upon examples from English and Uzbek literature, we endeavor to compare and contrast the terminologies and approaches employed in each language.
