Ushbu maqolada sotsial struktura tushunchasi, uning jamiyatdagi o‘rni, tarkibiy elementlari hamda ijtimoiy tizimda egallagan funksiyalari ilmiy manbalar asosida tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqotda sotsial tabaqalanish, stratifikatsiya hamda sotsial institutlarning jamiyat hayotidagi ahamiyati bo‘yicha yetakchi sotsiologlar qarashlari solishtiriladi. Maqola xulosa qismida sotsial strukturaning zamonaviy jamiyatni tushunishdagi nazariy va amaliy ahamiyati yoritiladi.
