Abstract

This article explores the evolution of the hotel industry from ancient times to the modern era. It divides the history into three major periods: the Ancient Period, the Grand Hotel Era, and the Modern Era. Each stage is analyzed in terms of historical context, societal needs, and technological advances. The article also highlights the role of the Industrial Revolution and the post-war economic boom in shaping the global hospitality sector.
