THE SEMANTIC SCOPE OF EMOTIONALITY IN PAREMIOLOGICAL TEXTS

This undergraduate thesis is devoted to the semantic and functional analysis of emotionality and modality in paremiological texts. The study explores the theoretical foundations of emotionality in linguistics, its semantic scope, and the linguistic forms of emotional expression in proverbs and idioms. It further addresses the challenges of translating culturally loaded emotive expressions and their modal impact in various linguistic contexts. The research also investigates how paremiological units evolve within digital discourse, such as social media and online journalism, and how they convey emotional resonance and modal force. The scientific value of the work lies in its interdisciplinary approach, combining linguistic, cultural, and translational perspectives to examine emotive language in fixed expressions.[1]
