Technology has become an integral part of education, transforming how students learn and interact with academic content. This article examines the effects of technology on student engagement, highlighting both its benefits and challenges. While interactive tools, AI-driven learning systems, and gamification strategies have enhanced engagement and academic performance, concerns regarding distractions, screen overuse, and privacy issues remain. The article concludes by suggesting best practices for effective technology integration in education.
