Abstract

is devoted to the analysis of Johann Wolfgang Goethe’s tragedy “Faust”. The work examines the theme, plot, characters, symbolism and main ideas of the work. Particular attention is paid to the interpretation of philosophical and ethical aspects, as well as the role of religion and mythology in the tragedy. The work also  its influence on literature and culture.
