This article discusses the issue of developing ICT proficiency in future teachers. It examines the process of educational informatization, which refers to all educational participants' capacity to use current information and communication technology. The study addresses the educational potential of ICT, pedagogical approaches, ICT means, and pedagogical capacities of ICT.
