THE ROLE OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN LANGUAGE LEARNING

Emotional intelligence (EI) has been extensively explored in psychology and education, but its influence on language acquisition continues to be a developing field of study. This study examines the significance of emotional intelligence in learning languages, highlighting how self-awareness, empathy, motivation, and emotional regulation enhance learning effectiveness. Building on current research, this paper emphasizes how learners with emotional intelligence improve their communication abilities, handle difficulties more effectively, and boost their motivation in language acquisition. The effects of EI in classroom environments and methods for incorporating EI into language instruction are likewise examined.
