Abstract

Book handling skills represent a fundamental component of early literacy development that significantly impacts children's future academic success. These skills encompass the physical manipulation of books, understanding of book structure, and the development of respectful attitudes toward reading materials. In preschool education, establishing proper book handling techniques creates essential foundations for lifelong learning and literacy appreciation.
