Mazkur tezisda II tipli qandli diabet profilaktikasida sog‘lom ovqatlanishning ahamiyati, uning biokimyoviy asoslari va inson organizmiga ta'siri atroflicha yoritilgan. Glyukoza va lipid almashinuvining asosiy mexanizmlari, insulin sezuvchanligining ta'minlanishi, antioksidant himoya tizimi, yallig‘lanish jarayonlarining oldini olishda ovqatlanish tarkibining qanday rol o'ynashi ilmiy manbalar asosida yoritilgan. Ushbu tezis diabet kasalligini oldini olishga qaratilgan amaliy tavsiyalarni ham o'z ichiga oladi.
