HOW VIDEO GAMES CAN HELP DEVELOP PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS

This thesis discusses how various types of video games support cognitive growth by fostering strategic thinking, resilience, collaboration, and creativity. Drawing from a review of empirical research, the paper highlights the role of action games in improving attention, the impact of sandbox games on creative thinking, and the importance of multiplayer games in building teamwork and communication. The findings suggest that when used mindfully, video games can offer meaningful learning experiences and help players develop skills applicable in academic, professional, and everyday settings.
