Abstract

The conflict between Russia and Ukraine is one of the most complex and significant events in modern geopolitical relations. This article analyzes the historical roots, causes, and consequences of the conflict, the role of the international community, and its regional and global impact. After Russia's annexation of Crimea in 2014 and the armed clashes in Donbass, the conflict entered a new phase. In 2022, Russia’s large-scale military invasion of Ukraine marked the beginning of a new era, affecting global politics. The conflict has altered relations between Europe, Russia, and the U.S., and has had a strong impact on the global economy.
