Abstract

This article analyzes how the ancient state of Bactria stood out among ancient states as a state with high potential due to its power, natural resources, the militancy of its population, and its unique natural conditions. This characteristic of Bactria attracted the world's major empires. For this reason, its name has been recorded in the written sources of the ancient world. It is noted that by the time of the Kushan Empire, Bactria demonstrated its power even more strongly in the political arena of the ancient world.
