This study explores the similarities and differences in the use of stylistic devices in Uzbek and English, focusing on metaphor, simile, epithet, hyperbole, alliteration, and idioms.[1] Through qualitative comparison of literary texts, the research highlights how cultural and linguistic structures shape expressive means in both languages. Findings suggest that although many stylistic devices are universal, their functions, frequency, and cultural motivations vary significantly. The paper provides insight useful for translation studies, bilingual education, and intercultural communication.
