DIFFERENTIATED INSTRUCTION IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING AT THE SECONDARY LEVEL

The application and effects of differentiated education in secondary English language instruction are examined in this article. The study highlights the importance of adapting teaching strategies to each student's unique needs while acknowledging the diversity of learners in terms of language competency, learning preferences, interests, and preparedness. The paper explores how individualized instruction improves language acquisition outcomes, fosters inclusive education, and increases student engagement by drawing on theoretical frameworks and real-world classroom practices. Effective strategies for varying content, process, product, and learning environment are demonstrated through case studies and real-world classroom experiences. The article's conclusion addresses the difficulties instructors have when implementing differentiation and makes suggestions for professional growth and legislative assistance to promote its wider implementation in secondary English classrooms.
