Abstract

The theory of socialization emphasizes that a person’s moral views are shaped through their experiences within a social environment, their interaction with society, and the internalization of social norms. According to this theory, an individual's moral beliefs are formed through their connection with people around them—family, school, and society at large. The theory posits that a person’s moral values and behaviors are directly influenced by their social surroundings.
