LINGUO ASSOCIATIVE UNITS AND THE THEORY OF “FIELD” IN LINGUISTICS
Abstract
The notion of linguo-associative units is examined in this article within the context of linguistics field theory. In order to understand how associative links between lexical items contribute to the construction and operation of semantic fields, it looks at their nature and purpose. The article illustrates how associative units facilitate linguistic inventiveness, meaning formation, and cognitive categorization using theoretical viewpoints and examples from a variety of languages. The paper emphasizes the function of associative mechanisms in vocabulary organization and discourse production through qualitative and descriptive examination.
