Abstract

The main point of the current study is to show the significance of the dancing art in folklore and the tourism industry. The paper will provide the reader with information about the definition of choreo itself and the traditional type of it. The study was conducted for people to remember their historical background and value of national heritage; also, the supplied content is aimed at the audience, who is uninformed about the dance tourism system, in order to bring them up to date. Paper was made in cooperation with other researchers, which explored the topic on a global scale; the consultation with a professional dancer, who has a degree in choreography, was inserted in the article as well. It was discovered that modern generation is not interested in folkloric dancing, wich diminishes the level of patriotism and illustrates the ignorance about its ability to demonstrate the past of the nationality. The article suggests several potential solutions to promote traditional dancing, including organizing cultural events for citizens, particularly young ones.
