The article “Comparative Study of Stylistic Devices in Uzbek and English Languages” explores the similarities and differences in the use of stylistic devices within these two languages. It aims to identify how figures of speech, such as metaphors, similes, alliteration, and irony, function in Uzbek and English literary and everyday language contexts. The study highlights cultural and linguistic influences on stylistic expression, revealing unique features as well as common trends across both languages. Through comparative analysis, the article contributes to a deeper understanding of cross-linguistic stylistic mechanisms and enhances the appreciation of language aesthetics in translation and language learning. The findings have practical implications for translators, linguists, and language educators working with Uzbek and English, providing insights to improve intercultural communication and teaching strategies. This comparative approach enriches the theoretical framework of stylistics by incorporating perspectives from both Turkic and Indo-European language traditions.
