Developing strong reading skills in English is crucial for young learners, as it enhances their linguistic competence, cognitive abilities, and overall academic performance. However, many students face challenges that hinder their motivation and ability to read in English. This article explores eight effective methods to assist and encourage young learners in reading, focusing on strategies such as interactive reading, technology integration, storytelling, peer collaboration, gamification, personalized reading plans, teacher support, and parental involvement.
