Abstract

Humor and sarcasm are integral parts of our daily interactions. While sarcasm is often used in artistic works and movie dialogues, it also plays a significant role in political rhetoric, particularly in US presidential debates. This article explores the extent to which politicians employ sarcasm during these debates and examines its purposes. It analyzes humorous and sarcastic remarks made by presidents, shedding light on their meanings and implications.
