Abstract

Uzbekistan, a Central Asian nation rich in natural resources and cultural heritage, is at a critical juncture in its quest for sustainable economic growth. This article explores the multifaceted challenges and opportunities that Uzbekistan faces in its transition towards a more sustainable economy. By examining real-world examples, including the agricultural sector's modernization, energy diversification efforts, and the promotion of tourism, we highlight the strategies being employed to harness the country's potential while addressing environmental and social concerns. The methodology employed in this analysis includes qualitative assessments of government policies, case studies of successful initiatives, and a review of relevant literature on sustainable development in Uzbekistan.
