Abstract

In this article, proverbs and sayings in German and Uzbek are analyzed as colloquial-cultural units, their functional functions in everyday communication, semantic content and their role in the expression of the National-Worldview are considered from a comparative-linguistic point of view. The article also reveals the aesthetic and communicative significance of Proverbs and matals in speech as a phraseological unit.
