THE CONCEPT OF ORNAMENTAL PLANTS AND THEIR IMPORTANCE IN BOTANY

This article provides information about the art of landscape gardening, a body of knowledge that works with living plant materials, uses natural elements, and integrates architecture and aesthetics. Greenery softens the climate of cities, regulates temperature and humidity, reduces noise and wind, purifies the atmosphere from dust and toxic emissions, and microbes, enriches the air with ions, resins, and aromas, releases phytoncides, killing harmful microorganisms in it, reduces the effects of solar radiation, and prevents soil overheating.
