Abstract

This article analyzes the theoretical foundations, classification, and relevance of developing soft skills in the education system of Uzbekistan, particularly at the primary education level. In the context of 21st-century demands and global labor market needs, the importance of soft skills is emphasized through the explanation of personal, social, cognitive, and emotional intelligence-related competencies. The study also highlights recent educational reforms in Uzbekistan, the implementation of new curricula, pilot school initiatives, international cooperation, and teacher training programs that support the development of soft skills in early education.
