The rapid advancement of mobile technology has introduced new opportunities for enhancing language learning through digital tools such as electronic dictionaries and mobile applications. This study investigates the effectiveness of these tools in the acquisition of vocabulary and overall language proficiency. Drawing on recent empirical research and practical implementations, the paper analyzes the role of mobile-assisted language learning (MALL) in fostering learner engagement, autonomy, and motivation. Electronic dictionaries provide immediate access to definitions, pronunciation, usage examples, and grammatical references, which significantly aid both receptive and productive vocabulary development. Similarly, mobile applications offer interactive and personalized learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles and proficiency levels. The findings indicate that while these digital tools enhance language learning outcomes, their effectiveness largely depends on learner motivation, digital competence, and the pedagogical quality of the application. The study concludes that the strategic integration of electronic dictionaries and mobile apps into language instruction can serve as a powerful supplement to traditional methods, provided that technological and learner-related factors are adequately addressed.
