"PRONUNCIATION CHALLENGES FACED BY UZBEK LEARNERS IN ENGLISH CLASSES AT SECONDARY SCHOOLS"

Abstract

This thesis explores the main pronunciation difficulties faced by Uzbek secondary school learners of English. It analyzes issues related to mother tongue interference, differences in phonetic systems, and problems with stress and intonation. The study also identifies the causes of these difficulties and suggests practical solutions, such as the use of audio-visual aids, increased focus on phonetic exercises, and greater attention to pronunciation in teaching. The research aims to contribute to the development of effective approaches for improving English pronunciation among Uzbek learners.
